Been doing some thinkin

Been doing some thinkin over the last few days and seeing many through a severe haze, that haz been kickin me in the shins, might explain some of the troubles I been in.

Going for  a run to recover a Nissan pick up for Ron today, saw 3 families with kids in a ran shack house out on a few dairies, out yonder towards King Hill. But them there kids were out smiling and playing and not fussing no how. I thought, my what a complicated life we who live further in town must live, if y’ll want to call it livin. More like just survivin out what few hours, or days or even years we all have left. Now there is two things that enter the thought pattern here. We all think that these migrant housing shacks are really well shacks. Thing is to these folks. albeit Mexies, still they is folks and they seem happy. So is our new fangled gadgets, from cell phones to computers to the dreaded Internet all that great? I’m beginning to think not. Yes these tools I use for business both mine, the shops and of course the Knytes, but; that said if I could I’d pull the plug. Certain things I think take away from quality time, parents spend with their kids, as well as kids especially teens  spend  with their parents. The stress over whose looking at you online, plus even trying to get and stay online is enuff to make folks head for the bar, or at least the bottle. Not saying the bottle and or bar wasn’t around b4 computers and internet, but such is enuff to make one drink. People don’t stop to smell the flowers and marvel at God’s creations. This kind of crap aint healthy.

Google’s Gmail haz had a real problem over the last few dayz. Tried to find an answer on their help pages, but no such luck. Of course Google ain’t gunna admit it is on their end. And most if you try to do up a tech advice thing over the damn phone only read from a card, and if the problem ain’t on their card your S-O-L. Been thinkin of trashing some if not all this , and doing up an email with just something Hazzard in the title. Of course ya’ll know the dildoes from MHI even when we do launch the IP radio station at the end of the month, will just need somebody to hold their lil hands and lead them to the site. Too bad the peanuts cain’t watch our CH-11 for the promo ads for the site. Hell these dillweeds probably need a hound dog to sniff it out. Like I said several years ago, most Yankey’s ain’t got the brains of a maggot.

One more day until no more poverty

One more day until no more poverty , at least for a few weeks. This month will be different, since wont need to make daily trips to both Gooding and Twinky Flatts.

Some have asked me, if your going broke on all of this, why not give it up? Fact is, one of my main missions in this Earthly life is to put this Internet Radio station and the ultimate Hazzard County web site up on the Internet, if it kills me. Wish I and the club could do a regular radio station right now, but the Feds have a moratorium on new FCC radio stations right now. That said making a call Monday on that. But to give up this for the few that think I should, no way. Phooey on that idea. Yes another pirate station is in the mind for a time. After all once B4 a pirate station pushed the Feds to grant us a tag once so might work again. We see. Only someone willing to fight the system from Hazzard County would be willing to go on board with that plan, and the new hires wouldn’t but they is out of the loop, so we see if we can get that tree to bare fruit.

The Olympics are done finally, glad to be seeing better TV on this next week. Although the few shows I really have gotten into lately on the CW I will continue to watch. Ron suggested rent to own a new TV from a place he goes through so going to look into that next week.  Hauling through Goons Ferry last night saw a ton and a half there for sale, that could be built into a carrier. Price tag? $2k. Pricey but doable. It’s a diesel and a FORD, but good paint, clutch and good rubber. Will snoop it out and let ya’ll know in a few weeks.

Back in Balance , Trust is of only one

 

Last night into early this morning I sweated like a roasted Hogg. I had a fever of 103 by 02:00 hours this morning, but by 09:00 the fever broke and all things back to the living. Thank goodness for Ron & Terri. Who woke up in the middle of the night drove over here with some Goody’s and other meds, so now I’m back to Hazzard County style normal. Which is not the normal many consider normal. Now that March is within a pubic hair and the dreadful month of February is near through, I’m looking back on the last two months thinking what the fuck was I thinking? I wasn’t thinking, except with the one eyed winky, and a bit of hopefulness. Which outside of Ellie May , should have shut the damn door mid December. Any time you need to go scrap iron to make green just to get to the studio means its not worth it. The thought that a few financially challenged business’s might like getting a serious McDonalds style break on ad rates at only a flat $100.00 a month which bought audio air time, TV ad’s and web banner ads, unlimited placement, That too many thought too good must be a catch. Piss on em. New hires that got a fire under their underwear when they thought was big money, was put on a 60 day test prospect basis, gave up the ship. With that all out of my hair what little of it there is, the thing is all things are beginning to get back into balance. The Knytes are getting some spring in our step, SAMCRO is beginning to forgive, and I’m back into the concept of living instead of dieing. Ellie May remains a friend but that’s it. She is going to be a distant friend and going to church with her weekly ain’t going to happen. She is a friendly acquaintance and I’m not blurring that with personal things like going to Church. There is the Dixie Amalgamated Church just outside of Hazzard and that’s where I should go, not to Jerome each week, where I’ll be examined like a grasshopper under a microscope. Never did cotton to anything not of a Confederate background or southern roots. Yankeys never have gotten it straight in over 234 years and they ain’t about too. Until that is, when the entire USA is under socialism and they are looking to the CSA as where to live. Call it the Civil War Part deoux. There is an old line from a CDB song that goes, trouble with the world today is folks have thrown their bibles away, and are living off the law of the jungle not the law of the land. CSA folks know to trust God above and intercede to give CSA citizens the tools to help themselves not the Government just taking over every part of their lives. As far as Trust, I trust God above, the Knytes, SAMCRO , the AyreWolvez and on a very cautions basis Ellie May. But things are getting back into balance and I’m finally relaxing.

Another week in review

Another week of 2010 in the rear view mirror. Not much happened this past week. Except going to some Doctor that had the smell of germicide so bad that it smelled like an LDS church meeting. By Wednesday , I had food and with some help from Ron fuel and snuff so while I could use both right now, no big deal.

The Knytes are far from being down and out. Yes we suffered something fierce from two points of view. One we lost a good number of good possible new hires. But if they did not have the tenacity to help build up our media operation, in the hard times, what good would they have been in the easier but more fluent times. Unlike true, blood oath Knytes-of-Anarchy members who have pledged both life and death for the club, the new hires fire died, so it was good they left. In time we again will recover and rein as the kings of Confederate style media. The majority of the none club member staff reduction, I think was the result that a few read the blog of you know who, and then decided to exit gracefully. I’ll be more in-depth on that on the AyreWolvez’ blog.

The end of the week comes with Ron gaining two new redoux projects, which mean LexiBelle will be working this coming week. Find myself attracted a bunch to well ya’ll know who, and though I’d like to act on my feelings, respect for Ron and Terri, sezz nope don’t do it. Nurse GoodBody has maintained quite a distance and with me having the flu it is a good idea. Just wish she could fetch me some meds, and I return that value to her on Monday when I get my state aide.

This next two and a half weeks is going to be very busy. Have meetings with web site people to get our streaming super site for Hazzard County and AyreWolvez even though in beta form, up and ready to launch by the end of the month. New on camera talent has been selected and even prepaid. Watch for promo ad’s on both Twin Falls’ CW, and CH-38 here for news on where to point your computer at the end of the month.

If older women dating younger men are Cougars. What are men dating younger women? Wolves?

On Tyra today was a segment about older women dating younger men. What’s that all about? Younger men are boys with whiskers. Hell I was stupid about operating women’s trigger points, stamina? Hell, never mind stamina, finding targets of availability was a real challenge. So what’s the attraction? Of course for guys its obvious. Tiny perky breasts, tight juicy vaginas that stay wet, and want to explore new happenings. So if an older woman hunting younger men are Cougars, what do you call older men hunting younger women? Wolvez? Guess the term fits and a description I shall we say firmly accept. The idea of being the Wolf in amongst the sheep is more than just a word, its a way of life. But that’s a subject for another blog. So the question is; if older women going for younger men, what term properly describes older men hunting younger women?

Patience is just for Doctors and do we really need all these IT updates

I have been reading this publication called EWEEK for at least 20 some odd years now. Much of what I know about business computing I have learned from reading the pages of Eweek. Trouble is, just when you get to liking a column or reporter of Eweek, they change the reporter or promote them. The other thing just when you get to liking a certain part of the publication they kill it.

They used to have this part on the back page of Eweek, that was a sort of comic book look to it, that featured a two legged cat called Spencer Kat. For the most part ya’ll didn’t need to read the rest of Eweek, all you needed to do was read Spencer Kat, and you had the weeks IT 411. Then for some odd unknown reason, maybe the Kat wanted more Kat nip who knows, but they killed the feature. But here is where I wonder. If you go online to any of the Ziff Davis web sites to read anything, its no longer a read. They have this idiotic slide show and that’s it. Must be reminders to the geeks that put Eweek, Baseline and a few other Ziff Davis things together of their das in college and eating pizza at the local Shakey ’s Pizza parlor and watching slide shows of the recent ski trip. If they can’t do a better job of producing a product, then either improve or quit. Here are though some suggestions, how about spotlighting unusual IT environments. Like say IT in military aircraft, or even agricultural aviation. Truck transportation, towing and emergency road service. Production as well as what is called Precision Agriculture etc. Show what IT engineers in these areas are doing. This would increase readership, likewise, advertisers. All would be well.

Okay then onto IT upgrades. As I ignited my computer this morning, I got a reminder from AVG to upgrade my virus protection program. Which I dutifully did. The upgrade took about 45 minutes with no real need for me to do anything, trouble is while doing the install, the program disarmed my virus protection program which meant that for that 45 minutes my computer was still hooked to the modem and open to invasion by virus’s , malware etc. Even then, I had to have the program update the update. AVG 9.0 is now operational, but dang Sam, couldn’t they have done better with the update so it would roll out better, the first time.

Then still having trouble getting into my Gmail account. I have to identify myself 2 times, once from the icon in my task bar and then to the sign in, at Gmail. Ever try to find a phone number and a human to call at Google? Doesn’t Google realize there is a problem under its hood and that it might be good to get an IT wrench in there to repair the problem? Now one might say the problem is on my end. Nope, both my Hotmail, and Yahoo email clients work fine automatically logs in and no big problem . Which brings me to my last look at IT this morning.

Since mid summer 2009, when an associate and member of the Knytes-of-Anarchy, turned me on to Ning.com and doing the really important blogs etc there. I have dropped the idea off to Ziff Davis that they ought to spotlight Ning.com . Of all the business and personal blog sites I have ever used from the days of free blogs etc with Microsoft(Msn)to Yahoo, and then Blogger to name three, Ning.com is one of the most uncomplicated there is. Eweek ought to spotlight Ning.com .

Gotta be LDS to play in this ball park

I have said before and I'll say it again, if your not LDS(Mormon) don't even try to set up shop or do business in the intermountain West. It will not succeed. Now granted I and the rest of the Knytes amongst others fight that system everyday, there arealso many who are what I will term cultural Mormons. Those who worship on Sunday to sell on Monday. I fought this in Utah in many areas. However according to a Hazzard News poll, there are more staunch LDS members in Idaho than there are in Utah. That's right friends the culture that changes your views on their schedule and beliefs are more rampant in Idaho than in Utah. Just look at local media. 70% of KTVB -7

news department is comprised of, yep you got it; LDS (staunch) members than none, unbiased Mormon reporters. It don't stop there, no-no, KMVT-11's news staff is 50% LDS, which means if a story or news item is not of church standards or might upset the area LDS members, that story is not going to get aired. In Pocatello, when I hosted my three cable access shows there, it wasn't until I said , I was reporting and challenging the LDS community that I caught hell there. It was my and the Knytes's thought that there are none LDS viewers so let them see things that did not kiss the LDS butts. In closing if your anything else, except LDS in this business market, whether its us in the Knytes-of-Anarchy, The Confederate National Party, the Confederate States of America, or even an Evangilistic , your chances for real success and money generation are slim and none. Okay then and this applies here. Was at a Doctors office today for a health screen for upcoming Physco work to be set up in Twin to gain some of that so needed help that so many think I need for my PTSD and BiPolar. The doctors office smelled so much LDS influence that you could cut it with a knife. A mini pocket knife at that. Now that all said, I want to clear the air here. I still retain my LDS Priesthood calling, and in many factors I trust LDS teachings, except for part 89 of the D&C. But I will not say one thing on Sunday at Church to gain a new client on Monday or make a bigger pay check on Tuesday. I will not lie to God, and be something or claim to be something I'm not just to be accepted. My earthly life is all but a minute in God's site and I'm not going to give up my Eternal life, just to make money. The real lie ? President Monson has yet to say his opinion on multiple partner marriages for instance. The real difference between the LDS Church and the reformed LDS Church that whatshisnutts in St George got caught up in , is just that. Whatshisnutts got caught, the big body in Salt Lake City didn't. Now , know this there is an action being put up in court against an organization called HEAL, that is trying very hard to close down and gain monetary pay back to those abused by a institution called Provo Canyon School. Of all that attended that place under the pretense of it being an advanced intelligence school, I was not only resistant to the rules there that were shall we say were not human or legal, but I found ways around that system as well. PCS was in it for green, not to help troubled youth. I could really do damage there, as I know more than the average Joe, or Sally that attended the place. More on that Friday.

Getting back to usual

It's going to snow like hell in the morning and most of the daY Wednesday. 5 more days of poverty and then feed, fuel, and Skoal, yippee!! Okay too 5 more days of these damn Olympics. Then even CH-7 will have to get busy doing something new, reporting news and putting something else besides a bunch of dweebs in tight suits trying to tackle mother nature and cold snow. Although that may become something to look forward to, consider this; Once people change their TV viewing habits it takes a long time to bring them back to normal viewing habits. The only two new shows that NBC has in its line up after these damn Olympics, is one called Parenthood, and one called Referee. Or properly, called the Marriage Rep. Yep another show that does not require a script, or much of one any way. When will Hollywood wake up and start building new TV and serious movies that people want to watch? Yes there are other channels and TV networks, but as bad as NBC has been beat with the fight over Jay Leno and Conan Obrien, you'd think that NBC, now owned in part by Comcast Cable, would green light some new projects so that NBC could gain its once top of the tier status it had with the Cosby Show back in the late 1980's. The writers strike three years ago has really hit all TV hard, but none as bad as NBC. NBC is still trying without much success to catch up, let alone accel. Is it too late for NBC? No, but outside of a very few new shows, and continuation of older ones like Hero's and Chuck, NBC may never get back up to the top notch spot in ratings, let alone earnings. Could this be challenged by a new network on cable and satellite? Yes. A new station ? No, why? because the FCC has a hold on any new TV station CP's and licenses, even LPTV's. Its not being a leech its more like collection time.

I was in a local store today and was asked,”are you not upset with people calling you a leech?” I replied, that I do not consider it leeching or sponging. Why? Because if everyone who owed myself, my Mom, Dad, and the gifts and loans of Mom & Dad’s Foundation paid us back, it would equal the GNP of the entire state of Idaho. More over the crap that has been thrown at me, for just trying to be kind would be repaid, Hell I’d own the entire lower half of the state of Idaho, as well as parts of northern Utah. My families legacy and history in eastern Idaho goes beyond a few kind deeds by both Mom and Dad, it is the financial gifts that have been made, many by the way of my suggestion, that has fueled and moved this state. There was once upon a time when 4 major families were the authority of the state of Idaho, Simplot,Kingston, Albertson’s, and the Montgomery’s, mainly my family. Now that golden throne was turned into a wooden chair, the fact that I have asked for some of our generosity to be returned or reclaimed I get called a leech. No, its more like pay back time.

Okay then I saw a thing on a web site, some old TV ads. One that caught both my eye’s and ears was the old Dppity Doo commercials. So I got to thinking, do they still make and sell Dippity Doo, hair styling gel? Same for V-05? I looked today at the cosmetic row at Wal-Mart, in Jerome, and saw one of those. Bt not Dippity Doo. Is it no longer available? Or just not here? Like Red Dog Beer. Once a great staple at a few bars,and a red sign at all bars of the red dog, but now no longer available, at least in Idaho, but found out back east , one can still get Red Dog. So is it that Dippity Doo, be bought elsewhere? Kinda like some TV shows. Many are seen elsewhere, but due to the very ultra conservative nature of Idaho, one can’t see them here. Same for radio. Until the outbreak of both XM/Sirius one never heard Howard Stern, here. In fact most area radio stations never dared air Stern. The objection was, don’t want to upstage or upset the MORMONS, they might boycott the advertisers of such a show so we will not air him. But of course came the BoB & Tom Show and that is OKAY!!? In closing, nope not a leech its pay back time. And I’m collecting.
