A peaceful day in Hazzard County

Last night brought both peace and yet turmoil to my humble house. As I had thought Ellie May declined doing the grind of SSI Payee. Now don’t get me wrong, for all things Cuzzin Bud does do a good job. Yes he makes mistakes as do we all. He does make bad decisions that at the time, like moving me to Bliss from Gooding , but the decision he thought was right at the time. The right decision for all the wrong reasons. But in time , I think unless I go blind will start to refill my britches with serious green. That means getting back into the shop building scoots , trucks and rodz and in time, going towing. More over I’m committed to getting the radio voice of Hazzard County back into computers through streaming. Only now I can do that right in my house where my creative not so much my administrative juices flow.

As the day grows old , I saw a small shop space just outside of Curry today, with a FOR RENT sign on it.  A site perhaps for HCC and Cooter’s Towing? We see. My steam hazz purtty much been purged. The last round with the radio gig and all hazz me purtty much used up. Like the loss of a good wife or gal friend. A break up of sorts, exspounges ones spirit. Oh yes it’ll heal, just like Jan, Tammy and even a thought of Metro Utah. True I could run, but that is not in me any more. As someone with Hazzard County Tenacity and drive I’ll get my head screwed back on. Get my bills and all paid, then come say next May or so go at it again. But between my aching back, sore knee, even though it does have liquid plastic in it, it still smarts sometimes, and my muscles while still able, I’m just not in no big damn hurry. I’m getting old. So it takes me a bit longer to get what I need done, done. But I do Git-R-Done.

One last thought. These damn winter olympics . My next door neighbor hazz em on all the damn time. I hear that Olympic theme music and I just cringe. Of course the only channel I can watch without it being snowy is CH-7 out of Boise that yes runs those damn olympics. But I got to thinking , how about having our own Hazzard County Olympics? Featuring for once man(or woman) and machine, for once include motorsports in Olympic competition. Going to get a hold of Boss Roscoe and see if it could be done for fun.
